We understand that having a healthy work life balance can help to make you more productive and satisfied with your career choice. We want to ensure all our colleagues have enjoy their time with us, both from job satisfaction but also from a wellbeing perspective as well.

Below we break down just some of the reasons why choosing a role at CIH will help you maintain job satisfaction whilst also having a healthy work life balance.

Our head office

Based on the outskirts of Coventry in the heart of the Westwood Business Park, our collaborative office space offers a range of facilities to support different working styles and needs. Whether you need to get your head down in one of our solo pods, have a one-on-one chat in our booths or have a team brainstorming session in our open theatre seating area we offer plenty of ways of working just in the one office.

Many of our colleagues choose to work in the office full or part time so you’ll never be short of someone to bounce ideas off or just have some of that social contact we all need. We also offer free parking so no more charges for just going to work!

Hybrid and remote working

We embrace hybrid working and encourage everyone in CIH to work from a location that suits them whilst meeting business needs.

Although, no role is exclusively remote, as we value the importance of collaborative working, our flexible way of working allows colleagues to choose where they work best and offers flexibility, meaning if you need to occasionally work in a coffee shop, at home, or from a different office, you have the option to do so as long as you meet the requirements of your role.

Our need for collaborative working means that there will be times when you are required to go to your local office, another CIH office, or another location such as a CIH event. Your contracted office will usually be the CIH office that is the closest to where you live.

If you have any questions about our hybrid working policy or if you live more remotely, please contact us to ask how this would work in practice for the role you are applying for.

Flexible working

As well as our flexibility for working location, we also have a flexible working policy to allow colleagues to work hours that suit their work life balance. Full-time colleagues work 35 hours in a week but we offer flexibility, in most cases, on the working pattern; whether you need to accommodate school runs, have time off for appointments, or even make a formal request for a condensed four-day working week, depending on the role and business need, we can accommodate.

Keeping you healthy and safe while working at home

All colleagues receive a laptop as standard when they join us. For those that work from home more frequently, we can also help provide standard health and safety equipment such as keyboards, laptop risers and additional screens. On top of this, we also have a tech platform that offers you the chance to purchase any additional equipment at discounted rates.
