Offered by employers, apprenticeships present a fantastic opportunity for new and existing housing professionals to build on and improve their current knowledge, skills and behaviour to progress in their careers with professionalism at its core. Tailored to the housing sector, they focus on learning in the workplace; they are an ideal tool for succession planning and supporting an individual’s career progression and opportunities without them needing to look elsewhere for development opportunities.
Apprenticeships are an opportunity to develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours and progress in your career. They provide a chance to work through a development programme, enabling you to gain the technical expertise, practical experience and broader skills needed to progress in your role and your future career. End-point assessment (EPA) is the final stage of an apprenticeship. It is an impartial assessment of whether your apprentice has developed the skills, knowledge and behaviours outlined in the apprenticeship standard. CIH is an approved end-point assessment organisation for all three levels of the new housing and property management apprenticeships.
