This workshop will give you the knowledge and confidence to provide a leasehold management service that effectively manages service charges.

Description

This training will assist you in maximising your income by identifying what costs can be recovered from leaseholders, along with guidance on how you can legally pass these costs onto customers and recover service charge debts from leaseholders.

This session forms part of a two-part series, each session is stand alone or both can be attended to cover all the content delivered in the classroom. Find out more about the other session: Introduction to leasehold management - successfully managing repairs and maintenance.

  • Understand good practice in calculating service charges

  • Practical guidance on how to recover service charge debts

Helen Muir specialises in leasehold and service charge management and has been working in this field for twenty-eight years. She held senior roles for two large housing groups before becoming an independent consultant and trainer.
