This two-part series offers an in-depth examination of social housing for those just starting out in the housing sector.


In this second session we will look at the rights and responsibilities of both landlord and tenants and consider what this means in practice. You will look at the types of tenancies and occupation agreements used in the social housing sector and both customer service and the importance of tenant’s participation.

  • Gain an understanding of the range of housing provision and the key providers
  • Understand wide and diverse range of people housed
  • Consider the rights and responsibility of both tenants and landlords in the sector
  • Look and the relationships with internal and external partners and how these are key to enabling social housing organisations to thrive
  • Understand how accommodation is altercated and consider at what types of provision are available
  • Learn how you can work together with internal and external partners to deliver our services.

NHS, local government, children and young people’s services, HMP and the probation service. Pauline prides herself in delivering relevant insightful and engaging training that participants can use and apply to their job roles.
