Help us to develop our support for all housing professionals, encouraging diverse talent and leadership.
The Chartered Institute of Housing are proud to announce a special event showcasing previously unheard voices across the housing sector to show our commitment to championing diversity, equality, and inclusion.
Story telling can be a powerful tool in helping us to build our understanding of diverse and underrepresented communities. This event will provide a platform to four people from diverse and minority backgrounds to deliver a 10-minute lightning talk on their journey in housing.
We are calling on the sector to support us by putting speakers forward, investing through sponsorship and most importantly attending on the day to hear these powerful stories.
By speaking at this event you will be helping to raise awareness of diverse journeys in housing and spread understanding of personal stories. To be considered for speaking, provide us with no more than 500 words on why you would like to be involved and how you will benefit from the opportunity. Applications will close on the Friday 30 April with the line-up being confirmed by Wednesday 12 May. All speakers will be provided with public speaking training.
