Building professionalism across Scotland’s Housing Sector

The CIH Scotland team is coming to Clydebank Housing Association for an interactive roadshow, bringing housing professionals together to explore what professionalism means in today's sector. You'll discuss the profession's evolving expectations, share practical insights, and consider how we can collectively build confidence, strengthen standards, and shape the future of housing across Scotland.

Professionalism underpins everything in housing: effective tenant relationships, ethical decision-making, regulatory compliance and high-quality service delivery. Join us to gain:

  • A deeper understanding of the CIH professional standards
  • A knowledge of the resources CIH Scotland and partners have to help housing professionals develop and grow their career
  • Connections within your local area
  • Best practice guidelines and case studies.

We will discuss the evolving expectations of the profession, share practical insights and experiences, and consider how we can collectively build confidence, strengthen standards, and shape the future of housing across Scotland.

Attendees will:

  • Meet the CIH Scotland team including national director Gillian McLees
  • Discuss what professionalism means to them
  • Understand the resources available to CIH members
  • Network with local CIH members.
