How do we remove barriers and encourage tenants from ethnic minorities to fully engage with landlords and how can boards help change the landscape?
Across the housing sector, boards are increasingly recognising that inclusive tenant engagement is essential for strong governance and better decision‑making.
Despite this growing awareness, meaningful representation of ethnic minority communities is at times inconsistent. Many engagement structures continue to fall short of creating spaces where all voices feel heard, valued, and able to influence outcomes.
This webinar brings together a panel of experienced contributors to explore this challenge in depth by unpacking the barriers that often prevent genuine inclusion, highlighting the opportunities that exist for doing things differently, and sharing practical steps that organisations can take to create sustainable change.
The session will draw on real examples and lived experiences to help illustrate what inclusive engagement looks like in practice, and why it matters for both tenants and organisations.
Delegates will gain a clearer understanding of where current approaches may be limiting representation, alongside insight into how boards can lead more confidently and proactively with cultural awareness and accountability.
