Discover the findings from the homelessness investigation

Join us for the launch of the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales' first 'own initiative' investigation report into the administration of the homelessness review process by local authorities in Wales.

Why attend?

The investigation, the first of its kind in Wales, focused on three local authorities – Cardiff Council, Carmarthenshire County Council and Wrexham County Borough Council.

When launching the investigation, the Ombudsman, Nick Bennett, said he wanted to take the opportunity to use the new investigation powers he obtained in the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act 2019 to both support public services and make a 'real time' difference to the people of Wales.

You'll join a range of expert speakers and housing stakeholders to discuss the findings and next steps.

Who should get involved?

This event is a must-attend for anybody working in housing provision, local government, registered social landlords or any organisation with interest in homelessness.
