We explore where seismic changes to Local Government intersect with supported housing.

Due in March 2027, supported housing strategies represent a radical change in how supported housing is planned in conjunction with other local authority and public sector services. In many parts of the country, this process overlaps with Local Government re-organisation and devolution.

Why attend?

  • We will explore what's changing in how local government is being delivered and how that intersects with supported housing strategies
  • Hear from providers who have pre-empted devolution and created pan-regional strategies
  • Explore the opportunities and risks for local authorities and providers
  • Get up-to-date policy information about supported housing, Local Government re-organisation and devolution.

Your speakers

  • Chair: Stephanie Morphew, CIH
  • Tom Arnold, Policy Manager, Devolution, CIH
  • Michael Courts, East Sussex Housing Partnership Lead
  • Steve Morton, Project Manager, Brighton & Hove City Council.
