Attending Westminster debates on best practices, providing advice to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government on current issues and requirements within the sector, and being involved in cross-party discussions on fire safety.

Who are Robert Price and what do you do?
The Robert Price Group is the largest independent builders’ merchants in South East Wales with 27 branches across the region. Since 1847, we have been providing outstanding service and high-quality products to local tradesmen, public sector organisations, self-builders and DIY enthusiasts. Offering over 20,000 products, our branch network includes multiple traditional builders’ merchant yards, as well as 4 roofing divisions, 2 timber mills, an insulation specialist branch, an agricultural supplies branch and a home & landscaping centre. Our public sector team and dedicated contracts office work with our public sector clients to deliver bespoke, flexible partnering solutions. We work closely with a wide range of clients and their contractors. We are a nominated PFH supplier and NPS Framework supplier.
We offer tailored public sector services including: bespoke solutions, store provision, site packs, electronic trading, data management, program management, purchasing cards, managed van stocks, training opportunities and training facilities.
We also offer product solutions and accredited ‘upskill’ training, in the sustainability sector. Our dedicated showroom, the Sustainable Energy Centre, at our branch in Newport, is home to a state-of-the-art product showcase for a wide range of renewable building and sustainable living solutions. RHE Global is a specialist company, pioneering new digital technologies to transform public protection. The Noise App, released in 2015, is now used by over 350 public bodies for noise nuisance reporting and is the most popular software for anti-social behaviour reporting in the UK. Following on from the success of The Noise App, RHE has released a new app called Reportable for all picture-based anti-social behaviour reporting and case management. Later in 2021 RHE will be releasing an ASB document management system with access to procedures, templates and guidance for ASB professionals, following this a streaming service will be launching in 2022 focusing on ASB and topics suited towards Registered Providers.

Working with the housing sector to encourage and support community action is key to the Eden Project Communities programme, so we’re delighted to be exhibiting at CIH events in 2023.

The Celtic Offsite factory in Caerphilly:
Manufactures high quality, sustainable timber frame structures complete with factory fitted insulation and windows to build up to 250 low carbon homes per annum.
Uses over 28,000 sq. ft of manufacturing facilities to provide affordable housing for contractors and developers.
Uses a Welsh supply chain, including local partners and Welsh timber where possible
Includes an on-site training suite to provide skills development and apprenticeships for green construction jobs.
The factory has been awarded two prestigious International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications; ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management. Celtic Offsite has also achieved PEFC certification for the chain of custody of forest-based products and were awarded Gold by the Structural Timber Association in their latest audit.
