How can housing providers effectively contribute to Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARACs)?

Though engaging with local MARACs, housing providers can share information that helps safeguard victims of domestic abuse and reduce the risk of serious harm.

Housing provider involvement can ensure a coordinated, multi-agency response to domestic abuse in your communities that can address housing-related risks, such as safety, tenancy stability, and secure relocation, more effectively.

In this session we will hear from experts and housing practitioners about:

  • What MARAC is
  • What the requirements are to engage
  • How housing practitioners are engaging
  • How it improves outcomes for households and communities.

Speakers

  • Kelly Henderson, founder, Adressing Domestic Abuse
  • Debs Alderson, co-managing director, Addressing Domestic Abuse (Previously of Northumbria Police)
  • Greg Downs, anti-social behaviour service manager, Aster.
