Introductory webinar Wednesday 28 May 1pm – 2pm. This will be via the e-learning platform MyHousingAcademy.
The CIH Level 2 Award in Letting and Managing Residential Property provides a general introduction to letting and managing residential property.
The qualification aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge to enable individual landlords working in the market-rented sector in Northern Ireland to perform their roles at a high standard.
Suitable for individual private landlords, letting one or a small portfolio of residential properties in Northern Ireland, this qualification offers accessible learning through tutor led virtual sessions and online study at an affordable price thanks to support from TDS Northern Ireland.
Please read the following level 2 descriptors that indicate the level that a learner must be working at to achieve the qualification and are confident that they are able to meet these requirements:

The qualification is approximately 12 weeks, with an average of eight hours of study a week.
There are three face-to-face virtual tutor-led sessions which offer the opportunity to interact and share knowledge with other learners as well as a complete set of online learning materials to work through for each unit.
You will submit a written assignment at the end of each unit of study (approximately every four weeks).
The virtual tutor-led sessions are delivered by a private rented sector specialist, Carrie Kus, who will also be your tutor for the duration of your study. Carrie has over 15 years’ experience of working in the housing sector delivering training, qualifications and consultancy services. She has presented to a variety of audiences including tenants, private landlords, letting agents, social landlords, property surveyors and board members.
As a landlord, and previous owner of a successful letting agency, she spent 5 years as non-executive director with the Residential Landlords Association.
