To ensure transparency and fairness, our awards process is designed to be impartial and rigorous. Here's a little more detail on how we select our shortlisted finalists, and winners:
- Expert review panel: Each award event has a knowledgeable review panel that includes tenants, residents, and housing experts. Individuals are selected as part of an award category’s review panel based on their knowledge and experience in that area.
- Standardised scoring framework: Each submission is assessed using a standardised scoring framework to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Multiple judges per category: A minimum of three expert judges review each category to validate the results and ensure a comprehensive assessment.
- Conflict of interests: Judges are required to declare any potential conflicts of interest and are recused from reviewing entries where a conflict exists, ensuring the process remains impartial and unbiased. To maintain the integrity of the review and award process, sponsors are not part of the review panel for the categories they, or the organisation they are affiliated with, support.
