CIH Scotland published research earlier this year on leadership and culture in the Scottish social housing sector. It concluded that while there is no appetite to introduce mandatory qualifications in Scotland at this point in time, the sector would benefit from a more consistent approach to staff development and recommended a new outcome to be included in the Scottish Social Housing Charter.

With the Scottish government due to review the Charter this year, these roundtables will explore what a new outcome on professional development could look like. We want you to help us develop draft wording for a new outcome, discuss how it could work in practice and share any concerns about a new approach to professional development in the sector.

Join the conversation – it's free for CIH members and you can choose between participating online or in-person.
