Welcome everyone to the 2025 Scotland Housing Award's Good Practice Compendium - a catalogue of the great work undertaken by housing professionals across Scotland.

Over the last year our sector has continued to contend with consequences of the housing emergency; low levels of new-build activity has meant a modest growth in overall stock, and concerns over affordability, resilience and the funding of new standards has created uncertainty among practitioners as how we deliver for our existing tenants and those without a home. The work of Scotland's housing professionals has been crucial in giving hope and giving a home to tenants and communities.

With this compendium we celebrate the work of our peers and learn new ways of working with colleagues. When faced with a problem you're continually challenging yourselves and this compendium is a record of the sector's achievement. There is no better demonstration of the industriousness and innovation of Scotland’s housing professionals.

The awards and the compendium reflect the impact and achievement across the housing sector in Scotland. Well done to all our winners and thank you to everyone who submitted entries to help us continue to share the good practice in Scotland.

We want to express a big thank you to all our judges for this year's awards who have given their time voluntarily to support the Scotland Housing Awards. Everyone who has taken the time to submit or judge an application is helping improve learning and practice across our sector.
