The Knowledge Hub is CIH’s online library of housing resources, designed to help members and housing professionals keep up to date with the latest sector issues, legislation, good practice, case studies and learning opportunities. On this page you can get help and find out how to send feedback on the content in our Knowledge Hub.

Finding the information you need

You can browse the Knowledge Hub by content type or topic area from the landing page. Use the buttons at the top to jump straight to blogs, webinar recordings, publications or podcasts, or you can choose to explore one of the topic libraries for more focused information.

  • Use the topic libraries to find resources on specific areas of practice
  • Look out for good practice stories to see real examples from organisations
  • Log in to your MyCIH account to access member-only content where required
  • Bookmark the Knowledge Hub so you can return to it quickly when you need guidance, insight or inspiration.

Report an issue or out-of-date content

We regularly review and update the Knowledge Hub, but the sector is well known for changing quickly. If you spot something that looks incorrect, out of date, broken or missing, please let us know so we can check and update it.

Submit an example of good practice

The Knowledge Hub is shaped by the experience and expertise of CIH members. We are always interested in hearing about projects, initiatives, partnerships and learning that could help others across the housing sector.

If you have a story to share, tell us what you did, who was involved, the challenge you were responding to, what changed as a result, and what others could learn from your experience.

To submit an idea or discuss a potential story, email marketing.communications@cih.org with a brief summary and your contact details.

Logging CPD from the Knowledge Hub

Reading articles, watching webinar recordings, listening to podcasts or using resources from the Knowledge Hub can count towards your continuing professional development (CPD) where it supports your learning and development goals.

To log this activity, sign in to your MyCIH account and go to My CPD. Add a new CPD entry, record the date, select 'Maintain and develop sector knowledge, expertise and develop network' under CPD type, and select 'Knowledge Hub activity' under Development activity. Complete the rest of the form and save your record.
