UK-based learners studying a housing qualification with our Housing Academy or an approved study centre may be eligible.
If you are a current paying CIH member or have been in the last 12 months you are not eligible for the concessionary rate.

This may include those with responsibility for learning, training, or professional membership within their organisation.
A concessionary rate is available for involved tenants and residents who are not in paid employment.
This rate is designed to support involved tenants to stay up to date with the latest developments affecting your home and community, develop your skills and knowledge, and increase the contribution you can make to your community and local housing organisation
If you are already involved with your local housing organisation, tenant membership can help you build your knowledge further and increase your involvement. For housing organisations, tenant membership can also strengthen the work of tenant forums and resident groups.
Whether you are working in or have an interest in the housing sector, and are yet to embark on any qualifications, this grade of membership will have you covered.
Known as the 'industry standard' for housing professionals, this grade shows employers that you have achieved a certain level of skills and knowledge needed to be a housing professional.
