Renewing your CIH membership is quick and simple. You can pay online, over the phone, or by emailing us — whatever works best for you.

By renewing, you maintain access to all your member benefits, including events, resources, networking opportunities, and professional development tools. Make sure your membership stays active so you don’t miss out.

Renew your membership online

The quickest and easiest way to renew is online. Before you start, please make sure all your personal and employer details in your MyCIH account are correct.

You can pay online by credit or debit card, via your employer, or set up a Direct Debit.

Need help renewing online?
Registering and logging in to My CIH

If this is the first time you have tried to login on to CIH's website, please follow the instructions below.

  1. Click ‘Log in’ top right of our website or click this link to take you to the log in page.
  2. Click ‘Sign up now’ under the big blue sign in button – don’t complete any fields at this stage.
  3. Enter your email address, ensuring it’s the email we would have on our system for you.
  4. Click 'Send verification code'.
  5. Check your email inbox for an email with your verification code (check your spam/junk email just in case).
  6. Copy the verification code in the email.
  7. Head back to our website, and enter or paste the verification code into the box.
  8. Click the 'Verify code' button.
  9. Once the verification code has been complete, you can continue to create a password and complete the rest of the form including 'First Name', 'Last Name' and 'Preferred Name' fields.
  10. Click the 'Create' button.
  11. You will then be able to access your account.

Paying by credit or debit card

Before you begin, please log in to your MyCIH account and ensure all your personal details and employer information are correct.

1. Start your renewal

2. Select your billing address

  • Choose an existing billing address or enter a new one.

3. Choose payment method

  • Select Card payment and click Next.

4. Complete the payment

  • Enter your card details and click Make Payment.

5. Confirmation

  • Once your payment is processed, your membership will automatically renew.
If your employer is paying

Before you begin, please log in to your MyCIH account and ensure all your personal details and employer information are correct. If your employer is not listed, you can request to have them added by clicking the button on the page.

2. Select your employer as the billing address

  • On the payment details page, choose your employer from the billing address options.

3. Choose payment method

  • Invoice: Have your purchase order (PO) number ready and enter it when prompted.
  • Card: Enter your card details on the next page to complete payment.

4. Complete the renewal

  • Once confirmed, your membership will be renewed, and the invoice (if chosen) will be sent to your employer.
  • If paying by invoice, please ensure your employer pays promptly so your membership remains active and you continue to access all member benefits.
Paying by Direct Debit

If you want to spread the cost of your membership over 12 months at no extra cost, you can set up a Direct Debit.

Direct Debits can be set up online through your MyCIH account or over the phone. Speak to the membership team today on 024 7685 1700 or email customer@cih.org to set up a Direct Debit.

Set up a Direct Debit online:

  1. Login to your MyCIH account and go to the Direct Debit page in the account management section, or follow this link: Set up your Direct Debit.
  2. Enter your active personal UK bank account details.
  3. Return to your membership details page: My Membership
  4. Click “Renew your membership” to complete the renewal using your Direct Debit.
