All-Ireland Housing Awards 2026 winners announced

The winners of CIH’s All-Ireland Housing Awards have been announced at a special ceremony, sponsored by Aico, at the Titanic Belfast 1 on Friday 20 March 2026.

The All-Ireland Housing Awards recognise the creativity, passion and innovation of housing organisations and individuals across the sector. This year’s awards received a total of 107 nominations across 12 categories, including best housing development, excellence in housing innovation, and housing professional of the year.

The 2026 All-Ireland award categories and winners are:

Best housing development (sponsored by DCC)

Working in partnership (sponsored by The Turnaround Project)
  • Turning lives around: Alpha and Outwork, Alpha Housing
Young professional of the year
  • Sydney Arthurs, Circle Voluntary Housing Association
Excellence in communication
  • Domestic Abuse Awareness Week Communications Campaign, Northern Ireland Housing Executive
Excellence in housing innovation (sponsored by Western Health & Social Care Trust)
  • From hospital to home: the Article 15 Pathway, Apex Housing Association
Housing hero (tenant award)
  • Nikki McConville, Homeless Connect
Housing professional of the year
  • John O'Sullivan, Respond
Beyond housing
  • Woven as One Empowering tenants and Building Capacity, Woven Housing Association
Learning and development champion
  • Stephanie Bennis, workforce development manager, Northern Ireland Housing Executive
Housing team of the year
  • Clanmil North Belfast Neighbourhoods Team, Clanmil Housing

All shortlisted entries for the All-Ireland Housing Awards have also been included in our 2026 Good Practice Compendium, sponsored by Choice. A core learning document it brings together inspiration, ideas, and innovation to help professionals and tenants across the sector work together to create a future where everyone has a place to call home.
