CIH signs the Fraud Pledge to strengthen its commitment to fraud prevention

The Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) has signed the Fraud Pledge, highlighting our commitment to prevent fraud wherever it might occur in the organisation.

The pledge is part of the Prevent Charity Fraud campaign, which the Charity Commission is promoting to raise awareness of fraud prevention across the sector. CIH is marking the commitment during Fraud Awareness Week, which starts today (Monday 2 November).

Fraud is a criminal threat to society that keeps changing and growing. No organisation, charitable or otherwise, can make itself completely immune to fraud, but every organisation can take steps to reduce the risk, and CIH is committed to doing exactly that.

In signing the pledge, CIH is showing members, partners, funders and the people we work with that we take the protection of our assets seriously.
