We are deeply saddened by the loss of Jasmine Bosworth (nee Tansur), who tragically passed away at the end of 2025. Jasmine, “Jazz”, served as a valued board member of CIH Futures from 2021 to 2024 and was widely respected across the housing sector for her passion, integrity, and unwavering commitment to residents.
Her journey was truly inspiring. Having grown up in social housing, she carried that experience into her work, becoming a powerful advocate for residents and a voice for positive change. She demonstrated that lived experience can shape leadership in the most meaningful ways.
As a young woman and mother, Jasmine built a successful career while never losing sight of her values. She was nominated for awards recognizing her outstanding contribution to the sector, and she consistently used her platform to support colleagues and charities, amplifying her impact far beyond her immediate role.
I remember her positivity, confidence, and compassion. She had a rare ability to make people laugh, even in challenging moments, and her warmth brought people together. Her influence extended beyond professional achievements—she inspired others to believe in themselves and to lead with empathy.
When Jasmine stepped away from the board, we knew she was moving on to bigger and better things. All of us who served alongside her took great pride in watching her professional achievements unfold. Ryan (vice chair) remembers her saying “you never really leave Futures, you’ll always be around” and described how Jasmine really embodied that sentiment in supporting our work.
Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched and the progress she championed. We are grateful for the time we had with her and those who knew her will honour her memory by continuing the work she cared so deeply about.
On behalf of CIH Futures, and everyone at CIH, we’d like to express our deepest sympathies to Jazz’s husband, children, family and friends.
Emma is chair of CIH Futures.
