It's not okay - a guide to tackling stigma in social housing

CIH has joined forces with the Stop Social Housing Stigma campaign to address the issue of stigma in social housing and how landlords can tackle this.

Many people in social housing experience stigma because of where they live, and research by Stop Social Housing Stigma has revealed how the practices of social housing organisations and professionals can contribute to that. CIH and See The Person together have developed this guide, to support social housing organisations and the people who work for them to reflect on what they do and the imact it has, so that they can work with tenants to tackle stigma and develop relationships of mutual respect. It showcases what some organisations are doing to achieve that.
