This qualification is suitable to anyone new to housing or work in a frontline position and want to improve their general awareness of housing or get their initial qualification.
You may enrol if you are not currently working in housing but are considering a frontline housing position as a career option. It can also be useful for tenants, residents and board members wishing to enhance their personal involvement and understanding of housing
Applicants must be aged 16 or over, should be confident using IT and have access to a computer. A basic level of literacy is also recommended to complete online tasks.

Derwentside College provide apprenticeships in Housing at both Assistant level (L2) and at Officer level (L3). Within the apprenticeships, we deliver CIH qualifications to provide students with a further regulated qualification as well as the apprenticeship standard.
