CIH qualifications are a fantastic way of establishing yourself as a professional in the housing sector, as well as making sure you have the theoretical knowledge, key skills and learning to perform at the highest level in your day job. Our qualifications make skills visible and bring a greater depth of understanding than experience can sometimes provide.
Studying for a CIH qualification is now more flexible than ever with the CIH Housing Academy, you can choose one of our four study methods below, or we can create a tailored programme and deliver it in-house at your organisation.
Studying online gives you total flexibility to study when and where works for you. As a CIH Housing academy online learner, you will have access to a full set of online learning tools, including study materials written by our team of specialist authors, links to useful websites and resources, and access to forums where you can share your thoughts and ideas with other learners.
NEW Online plus
Online plus combines all the benefits of online study with the addition of dedicated tutor support via virtual sessions. These virtual sessions offer the opportunity to interact and share knowledge with other learners and tutors, but still offer the benefit of fitting study time around work and life commitments.
NEW Bitesize learning
With CIH bitesize learning, you can break down our qualifications and simply study the units you want to, when you want to, and pay as you go. You may choose to study a single unit on a topic of particular interest, or, over time, study all units which, on successful completion, achieves the full qualification. Bitesize learning is currently available on Level 2 and Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice. Please note that our Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice is made up of eight units. You can study five core units through CIH bitesize and then, should you wish to, move on to study the remaining units to achieve the full qualification.
Blended learning is a method of study which combines face-to-face learning days with online learning, so learners get the best of both worlds - the opportunity to interact, share knowledge and learn from other students and a tutor, and the ability to fit their learning around other commitments. Due to COVID-19 our blended learning offer is currently unavailable, but we are constantly reviewing this in line with government advice.
