Your designated CIH officer is here to support you and your volunteer group to function as effectively as possible.
They are your link into CIH and are there to:
- Support with volunteer group recruitment and onboarding
- Help to manage group budgets
- Help to organise group activities
- Support and supervise your volunteer group and ensure that volunteers are happy in their role
- Be a point of contact for raising concerns and troubleshooting any issues
- Highlight the role volunteers play in the organisation and ensure contributions are recognised
- Ensure that the experience of volunteering is inclusive and accessible
- Help volunteers to progress into new ways of engaging with CIH once their term has come to an end. Please head to the section on Succession planning for more information about the variety of ways to be involved with CIH.
