Organisations delivering programmes with substantial housing learning and development content can apply for CIH Recognition.
What is CIH Recognition?
CIH can formally recognise development programmes, educational products or community programmes which align and positively contribute to the mission and values of the Institute, to the CIH professional standards, to the CIH Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics, and to continuing professional development (CPD).

CIH Membership Recognition for Awarding Organisations
To promote professional development across the housing industry, CIH can formally recognise regulated qualifications from other Awarding Organisations that meet the required academic level, housing management focus and assessment standards as eligible for CIH membership at CIH Certified Practitioner and CIH Chartered Member grades.
Recognition of regulated qualifications demonstrates that your programme aligns with the knowledge and competencies expected by the housing sector, helping learners achieve both a respected qualification and access to professional membership. Through this scheme, CIH works with Awarding Organisations to promote high-quality housing education while supporting professional development across the industry.
